Oscar’s multi-location management lets you work on several properties from a single login. It is designed for people who look after several hotels, restaurant sites or installations and need to move from one property to another without logging in and out every time.
One login, several working contexts
An enabled user sees the installations they are authorised for and can choose which one to work on. The key is to keep the context clear: before changing content, a setting or a message, you need to know which site you are working on.
Central management does not mean sending the same information to everyone. Opening times, services, messages and contacts can differ for each property.
Organising work between head office and individual properties
A useful setup starts from operational responsibilities. Who looks after the WiFi service? Who updates the content? Who prepares guest communications?
- Identify the people who need to work on several installations.
- Define which properties to assign to each authorised user.
- Decide which information is shared across the group and which changes from site to site.
The permissions available should be checked with the Oscar team, based on the profile and the installations to manage. Operating instructions depend on the dashboard in use: a procedure based on old screenshots may not match the current experience.
Reading contacts while keeping track of the site
Multi-location management includes a combined export of guest profiles, showing the location each one comes from. This helps you see where a contact originated and prepare relevant analyses and communications.
Even when working at group level, the communication preferences expressed by guests must remain the reference for how the data is used.
