Do guests have to download an app?
No. The portal opens by itself when the guest connects to the WiFi network, directly in the phone’s browser.
Is it GDPR compliant?
Yes. Consent can be configured by purpose, marketing can use double opt-in and every guest can ask for their data to be deleted. Privacy settings are managed from the dashboard.
Can I use my own branding?
Yes: the portal’s logo, colours, images and texts can all be customised, in several languages.
Does it work for a restaurant too?
Yes. WiFi login collects customer contacts at your restaurant or bar too, and you can use them for newsletters and review requests.
Can I tell restaurant customers apart from hotel guests with a single Oscar?
Of course. You can segment customers at login and tell people using the restaurant apart from people staying at the hotel, managing both groups with a single Oscar.
I already have a WiFi network with antennas and access points: do I have to replace everything?
No. Oscar sits between your incoming Internet connection and the switch that connects your access points. You can keep your WiFi network and add Oscar’s features.
Can I connect the data to my CRM?
Yes: you can export to CSV whenever you like, or set up a daily automatic export or a webhook that sends the contact at every login.
